PartyHop Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 05/24/2026 · Last Updated: 05/24/2026
01. Who We Are and What This Policy Covers
PartyHop LLC d/b/a PartyHop.ai ("PartyHop," "we," "us," or "our") operates an AI-assisted SMS, voice, and web platform that connects customers with independent third-party transportation operators for group transportation bookings. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you interact with us by text, phone, web, or AI agent (collectively, the "Services"), and it describes your privacy rights. It applies to all information collected through the Services. Our Customer Terms of Service, Fee Schedule, and booking-flow disclosures work alongside this Privacy Policy and are separately accepted at booking.
02. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly and information generated by your use of the Services.
Information you provide:
- Contact information: name, phone number, email address
- Booking details: event date, pickup location, destination, route, group size, vehicle preference, event type, and timing
- Payment information: payment card details (collected and tokenized by Stripe; PartyHop does not store full card numbers)
- Communications: SMS and MMS messages, voice call recordings and transcripts, and other content you send us
- Feedback, reviews, and support requests
- Accessibility or special needs information you voluntarily disclose
- Operator-sourced lead consent records, where applicable
Information generated automatically:
- Device and browser type, operating system, IP address
- Website usage data (pages visited, links clicked, session duration)
- SMS metadata (timestamps, message delivery status)
- Call metadata (call duration, timestamps)
03. How We Use Your Information
- To receive, evaluate, and fulfill transportation booking inquiries
- To source, match, and coordinate with independent transportation operators on your behalf
- To quote the Booking Total, collect the Booking Fee and Remaining Balance, and process payments through Stripe
- To authorize, hold, capture, and process post-trip incidentals and operational charges under PartyHop's Fee Schedule, including off-session charges to stored payment credentials where the incidentals hold has expired
- To communicate booking confirmations, updates, pickup logistics, and support via SMS, voice, and email
- To record, transcribe, and store calls and SMS conversations for quality assurance, training (including AI system improvement), dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and legal compliance
- To operate, maintain, improve, and develop the Services and our AI agents
- To comply with legal obligations, enforce our agreements, resolve disputes, and protect the rights and safety of PartyHop, operators, customers, drivers, and the public
- To send transactional and booking-related communications (not marketing)
Where we use AI or transcription vendors, we configure and contract for those services, where available, so that PartyHop customer data is processed to provide services to PartyHop and is not used to train the vendor's general-purpose foundation models.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
04. How We Share Your Information
With Operators (transportation providers):
To source and confirm vehicle availability, PartyHop generally shares limited trip details — such as event date, pickup area, approximate route, group size, vehicle category, and duration — with potential operators, without your direct contact information unless needed to source or confirm availability. After a booking is confirmed, PartyHop shares the information needed for the Operator to perform the trip, which may include your name, phone number, and pickup details.
With service providers and processors:
- Stripe (payment processing and tokenized card storage)
- Twilio and other telecommunications providers (SMS and voice delivery)
- AI and transcription vendors (voice agent, call transcription)
- Analytics and business-operations tools
- Legal, compliance, and fraud-prevention services
These providers process your information only to provide services to PartyHop and are bound by appropriate data processing and confidentiality obligations.
For legal and safety purposes:
We may disclose information as required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental authority; to enforce our agreements; to protect the rights, property, and safety of PartyHop, operators, customers, and the public; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (with notice to affected users where required by law).
05. SMS Communications and Opt-Out
By providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS and MMS messages from PartyHop related to your booking inquiry, matching, payment, pickup logistics, support, and transactional updates. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your booking activity.
To stop messages, text any of the following keywords at any time: STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, REVOKE, or OPTOUT. Text HELP for help, or email support@partyhop.ai. Opting out of SMS may impair PartyHop's ability to support your booking.
PartyHop does not send marketing or promotional SMS messages without separate opt-in consent.
06. Voice Calls and AI Agent
Calls with PartyHop may be handled by an AI voice agent that generates synthetic speech. If you prefer a human representative, say "human," "agent," or "representative" and PartyHop will route you accordingly during business hours where available.
Calls may be recorded, transcribed, and stored. PartyHop will disclose call recording at the start of voice calls where required by applicable law. If you do not consent to recording, end the call and contact us at support@partyhop.ai.
07. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
PartyHop's website uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, analyze usage, and improve the Services. We use:
- Strictly necessary cookies: Required for core functionality (session management, security, form processing). Cannot be disabled without breaking core Services.
- Analytics cookies: Used to understand aggregate website usage (e.g., which pages are visited, how users navigate). We use analytics tools for this purpose. Analytics data is not linked to your identity without separate consent.
You may control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the website. PartyHop does not use cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising.
08. Data Retention
- Booking and contract records (booking details, payment records, operator assignments, Booking-Flow Disclosures, and consent records): retained for up to 10 years from the booking date, consistent with Wyoming's statute of limitations for written contracts and payment documentation obligations.
- SMS messages, call recordings, and transcripts: retained for up to 24 months from the date of the communication, unless a longer retention period is required for an active dispute, legal hold, or regulatory compliance.
- Payment tokenization: tokenized card references are retained as long as needed for incidentals capture and off-session charging under PartyHop's Fee Schedule, and then deleted.
- Analytics and log data: retained for up to 24 months, then aggregated or deleted.
When retention periods expire, data is deleted or anonymized in the ordinary course of business, subject to active legal holds or regulatory requirements.
09. Payment Card Security (PCI)
Payment card processing is handled by Stripe. PartyHop uses tokenized card storage through Stripe (we never store full credit card numbers or card verification codes). PartyHop's payment systems are designed to comply with applicable PCI DSS requirements. For Stripe's security practices, see stripe.com/privacy.
10. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13. PartyHop does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us at support@partyhop.ai.
11. Data Security
PartyHop implements reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No system is completely secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your rights, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
12. State Privacy Rights
Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional privacy rights under applicable state law, including rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of their personal information, and to opt out of certain processing activities. PartyHop does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, which means some opt-out rights may already be fulfilled by our default practices.
California residents:
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the CPRA, California residents have the right to: know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it; access their personal information; request deletion of their personal information (subject to legal exceptions); correct inaccurate personal information; opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (PartyHop does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising); and non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
To exercise California privacy rights, contact us at support@partyhop.ai or +1 (815) 597-0291. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.
To exercise privacy rights under other applicable state laws, contact us using the information in Section 16.
13. Opt-Out Preference Signals
PartyHop honors legally required opt-out preference signals (such as the Global Privacy Control) where applicable and required by law. Because PartyHop does not sell personal information or engage in cross-context behavioral advertising, a GPC signal from your browser generally has no additional effect on our current data practices, but we process and honor it as required by applicable law.
14. International Visitors
PartyHop's Services are directed at users in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where our servers and service providers are located. By using the Services, you consent to this transfer. U.S. data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
PartyHop may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy with a new "Last Updated" date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice (such as an email or SMS notification where required or appropriate). Each published version is archived at a versioned URL (e.g., partyhop.ai/privacy/v2.1) and remains accessible after a new version is published. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
